Big swell in CT, perfect combination of sailing, surfing and skating..check it out

I'm 2 months in CT now and yesterday i think we had the biggest swell so far..of course it was not THAT big, but the wind was quite light and it was tricky to get out..Sunset Beach was working nicely, but it was obviously the only place to windsurf, cos the wind never picked up..the kiters for sure had the time of their life at Haakgat..the best spot all to themselves..)) that's a little sunset pic from Big Bay..

Thanks to Iris Zechner for that pic of a nice barrel and me basically running away..haha..i have to admit it was quite scary, especially if the last day u sailed was a week ago and the last day u sailed BIG waves was a year ago..))

That's Haakgat COOKING...only kiters could get out that day..Harry tried hard, but couldn't..

This morning the swell was still super big, noone out in Desdestin (tho the barrels were sick, check the pic), but big bay and melkbos were working good...i did try to go out at Melkbos in the morning, had the worst brain and face freeze of my life (i think the water was 10 degrees or less) and got out 2 min later..

The park is really nice, that day the guys just finished 2 ramps and now covering them to come back and continue building stairs in between..it's gonna be a sick little park! definitely coming back some time again..

Next Windsurf Beauties camps: 2-16.10, 20.11-4.12. JP NP Young Gun camp: 30.10-6.11 in Dahab, Egypt

Dear friends,

after a very successful mixed (girls and guys) summer camp that we've just had in Dahab at Five Square windsurf center, we are inviting you to join our Windsurf Beauties and Beasts camp ;))) from 2nd until 16th of October at the same spot. It was great fun to teach our girls together with the guys as they were so helpful and motivated that everything just went on perfectly well. We had a very windy week and lots of sailing, teaching planning in foot straps, jybes, fast tacks, water starts and other tricks.

At the end of the week we had our famous ROXY Fun race where both guys and girls were so competitive that at the start line we had quite a big mess of equipment. The "pro" group had to sail to the Lagoon, gybe around a buoy and come planning back to the center. The "beginner" group had their buoy next to the beach and all the guests from our center were supporting them screaming so loud, you could hear from Speedy.

Now we are getting ready for our next camp where we'll have a special daily program consisting of a warming-up sesh, 4h windsurfing, lunch, 2h more sailing, yoga, dinner, video analysis and parties.

We've got a few special events set up for the upcoming camp, which is a ROXY/QUIKSILVER Fun Race, a free diving lessons to all the participants (!!!!!!!) from a professional free dive master and instructor Julia and much more.

Yoga will be held by our favorite instructor Svetlana who's been practicing yoga for many many years and developed a special program that will suit every girl and guy who's windsurfing.

Our price for 1 week of the camp is 350 euros, 2 weeks - 680 euros. The rental of the equipment has to be payed separately and 7 days for beginners will cost 99 euros, intermediates and pros will be a very good discount on the rental. JP NP Young Gun camp and Windsurf Beauties camp in Dahab

Dear friends, we open the new season of windsurf camps in Dahab with JP NP Young Guns from 20 until 27th of August and Windsurf Beauties camp from 27th of August until 3rd of September. Both camps will be coached by the best Russian female freestylers and professional windsurfing instructors Olya Raskina and Sveta Martynova. Together with coaching, every participant of the camp will enjoy yoga lessons, trips to different beautiful spots, photo and video sessions and many more interesting things.

Windsurf Beauties camps will take place in Dahab, Egypt at Five Square windsurf center from 27th of August until 3rd of September, from 1 until 15 th of October, from 19th of Nov until 3rd of Dec. Girls of any level of windsurfing from beginners to freestylers are welcome to join the camp.

It's always fun to sail, learn and improve together. Professional coaching combined with yoga, trips, parties, other activities is the best thing to learn with pleasure and excitement. Girls just wanna have fun! ;)) and sail better..1 week of the camp costs 350 euros, 2 weeks - 680 euros. The rental of the equipment has to be payed separately: 7 days of begginer and intermediate gear is 99 euros, advanced gear - 150 euros for a week.
