Welcome to Olya Raskina and Sveta Martynova's Windsurf Beauties camps. The upcoming camps are 16-30th of March in Cape Town, SA; 1-10th of May in Mauritius; 15-29 June at Five Square windsurf school in Dahab, Egypt.

We would like to introduce windsurfing to as many girls as possible and share our passion with them. We believe that windsurfing is the best sport for a woman, because it is fun, active, physical and bound with nature. It combines 2 basic elements: wind and water, which give you joy and freedom. Our goal is to help you learn, improve and advance in windsurfing.

Cape Town windsurf madness in the last few days

It's very hard to post pics and news from Cape Town, South Africa, because...well...hmmm..pfff.. definitely, NOT because someone's being lazy and slow, but cos it's just crazy windy and mad waves here. After a day of 9am-8pm on and off the water, rigging/derigging, moving from spot to spot, packing/unpacking, you are just so worked and tired that you only crawl to bed at night to wake up and find out that....it's windy again! here's a pic from Haakgat on Thursday, it was EPIC! thanks to Ivan Newmark for taking pics.
On Friday the wind came through a bit later, so we went to surf Haakgat at lunch time and it was massive again. Beautiful point break that just works and runs until it hits a few (hundreds?) italians in speedos on the beach. Honestly, i'm not a hater and i've been working in windsurf centers for the last 8 years but please guys don't wear speedos with crocs on the beach while you carry your gear here and there. thank God Cape Town is a cold water spot with wetsuits all the time, otherwise would you be even windsurfing in speedos?! anyway, let's leave that sensitive subject and check out a nice close out pic from Sunset beach.
I can't wait for the arrival of my new JP-Australia board this week. Feels like Christmas time. It's already in Cape Town International airport stuck at customs, but coming out soon. So looking forward to test that baby out.
There were a a lot of good sailors on the water these days. Even my friend David from Kommetjie drove here to rip up some nice ones at Sunset. Sick turn!
Ivan aerials are getting as good as his backloops now, sweet.
And here's Shaun on the pic under and the reason why i'm so slow at learning and trying goiters. If something goes wrong you "eat" a lot. That's a face plant goiter by Shaun.
And that's a whole body into the gear plant goiter by Shaun..

Definitely, with my extreme luck, my goiters will looks like all the variations of those 2 pics. Well, i already tried a few and it felt nice and soft falling in the water, but once you go around, there's a nice landing on top of your gear in store for you. Well, i only got 1 more month left in SA, so rather go hard..or go home in 1 month.
Thanks to NeilPryde, JP-Austalia, Five Square windsurf center, Roxy, Skullcandy, Baby G, MFC for supporting my windsurfing and my best amigo Fran here for supporting my stay in CT, it's been a while and time to go home soon, but hopefully still gonna shred a few nice waves before my leave.
Can't get enough of that Table mountain and Lion's head view while we sailing. such an amazing place! Anyway, lets stay tuned, check the weather, drive around and get some sick sailing done. take care and, for those, interested in windsurf clinics, it's in Mauritius from 1 to 10th of May and Egypt from 1 to 29th of June. Come over here to CT in March if you feel like as well. cheers!
